TUITION FOR BLUEPRINT @ UCLA
(PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE)
Tuition for the UCLA is $3799 per week and is designed to cover everything your student will need while at Blueprint! University housing. On-campus activities. Supervision. Classroom instruction. Three meals per day. Everything! You won’t even need to submit an additional application fee.
PROGRAM ENROLLMENT @ UCLA
Enrollment in Blueprint’s summer program for high school students is limited. Online registrations are accepted on a rolling basis until the program is sold out. To reserve your space, we strongly recommend completing our online registration process as early as possible.
UCLA’s designated airport is Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Students traveling to the program by plane may request Blueprint’s Pick-Up/Drop-Off service during the online registration process for an additional fee.
COURSES
Blueprint Pre-College Summer Immersion for high school students at UCLA offers courses that are both fun and rewarding. Each of our courses offer an overview of the subject in a 101 style course, with an introduction to career options within the field. All courses vary by campus.

- Instructors are handpicked for each program. No tests. No homework. Students reconnect with the fun of learning through top-notch instruction in a stress-free setting.
All students will spend their afternoons participating in our College and Career Success (CCS) class. Additionally, students will choose one major concentration courses to explore. Students who attend a second week can enroll in a different concentration course and will dive deeper into the CCS curriculum and campus immersion.
2021 UCLA Pre-College Summer Immersion Courses
Behavioral Sciences are an area of study that examines our society’s laws, infrastructure, institutions and the impacts they have on human development and socialization. This course gives an overview of some key areas of study within the field. Students will examine the psychology of our social systems; explore how studying abroad can spark your interest in law, political science or public health, make the distinction between counseling, social work, and social/human services and other behavioral science related professions. Areas of concentration include:
- Psychology
- Law
- Sociology
- Political Science
- Public Health
For students interested in owning a business, managing a business or working within the business field, this course will be a comprehensive overview of the many different aspects of the business world. Through 5 business specialties, students will learn how to turn a bright idea into a business, look at social media and its role in business branding and marketing, working in Human Resources, managing athletes and other business related professions. Program areas of concentration are:
- Business Development
- Management
- Information Systems
- Marketing
- Sports Management
- Human Resources
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) was introduced by scientific administrators in 2001, and since then organizations and universities have been developing programs deeply rooted in the rigorous skills and educational foundation needed to pursue degrees and careers in these areas. However, a large number of students who may be interested in one of these areas, may still have questions about what they can actually pursue and how it can be applicable to their lives. This course is designed for those students. We will explore five of the most populars specialities within the field of engineering and dive into some projects that will give students an idea of how skills are applied such as: examining the concepts of building structures like bridges and tunnels, exploring medical technologies that help people with injuries and disabilities, rocket science and many other engineering related professions. Program areas of concentration are:
- Civil Engineering
- Biomedical Engineering
- Environmental Engineering
- Petroleum Engineering
- Aerospace Engineering
The field of medicine and very broad field filled with a number of different specialties and levels of engagement. This course introduces students to some of the most highly sought professions within the field. Students will explore the various careers within the medical field, participate in basic medical skills and procedures, understand medical support professions and other healthcare related professions. Areas of concentration include:
- Nursing
- Allied Health Support
- Physical Therapy
- Physician
- Pharmacology
