Preparing for college and choosing a major is a big decision. What career do you see yourself in after college?
All Blueprint students take our College and Career Success course, where they will explore post-secondary options, decide on the career and educational path they want to take, and learn all the steps required to Go in Strong to life after high school. We will practice the soft skills required to be successful in college, career, and life and help students recognize how much success in life depends on skills not directly taught in high school.
All students then choose a major to explore over the summer in one of our custom developed courses. You’ll study with an educator who is an expert in your field of interest, but you won’t have the stresses of tests and homework. We offer 4 courses to choose from including:
Can’t decide on 1? Enroll in multiple weeks! Students who attend multiple Blueprint Program will explore life on campus and expand on what they learned the first week with more in depth and hands-on learning of topics including communication skills, money management, application essays and interviews, stress management, conflict resolution and more.
Students may spend time exploring all the services a campus has to offer, such as the student center, library, and counseling center. Guest speakers may discuss campus services, tutoring, or community businesses and organizations. They will learn about opportunities to join clubs and participate in athletics.
