Everyone Does It. Everyone Loves It.
Helping students design their blueprint for college and career success is at the core of every program.
No matter which program you choose, your Blueprint experience will help you get ready for college and be successful once there. We understand the importance of College & Career Success (CCS) and build it into everything we do. Whether a student attends our Saturday Series, Pre-College Immersion, or 4 Day Intensive, each class day includes college and career readiness (CCR), practical knowledge and skill development, soft skill practice and more.
Get Ready For College and Career Success. The Blueprint Way.
At Blueprint, we know that students have many questions about the path they should pursue after high school. Whether its college, the military, an apprenticeship or a job, Blueprint is committed to giving young people the necessary knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to eliminate the anxiety and prepare them for post-secondary success.
Your Blueprint experience is specifically designed to help you go beyond test scores and GPA, equipping you each day with the confidence and know-how to navigate life as a young adult. We want to not only see you on the path to your dreams, but succeeding from day one!
The debate in the educational field continues …. Is college worth it? Some argue that with costs of higher education continuously rising, the amount of student loan debt that students come out of college with far exceeds the financial benefits of the degree. Others will argue that even with the rise in student loan debt, individuals with a college degree continue to earn higher wages than those without.
Regardless of where you fall in the debate, Blueprint believes it is our job to educate young people on ALL of post-secondary options. Blueprint students will explore options such as college, the military, apprenticeships, and jobs and learn practical skills associated with application and entry, as well as the future outlook for their career of choice.
Students will explore post-secondary options such as community colleges, 4 year colleges and universities, trade school programs and certifications, and apprenticeships; how to pay for college; choosing a major and career; writing resumes & interviewing.
Staff Spotlight – Anna Akhtar
Blueprint Resident Advisor At Stonehill College
Anna is a proud native Texan, and currently a senior at what she considers to be the greatest school in the country– the University of Texas. (Hook ’em!) She is currently studying General Education with future plans to teach at the elementary level, and eventually become a college prep counselor. When she isn’t working, interning, or in classes, Anna loves spending time with her sorority sisters, cooking, rock climbing, kayaking, running, and buying pants. She buys other clothes too, but mostly, pants.
The staff is completely committed to making your experience the absolute best it can be. I highly recommend this program; it is truly amazing!
My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her week at George Washington University! It was a wonderful experience.
By the second day we had each other laughing hysterically on our way back from the dining hall! I couldn’t believe how quickly we all became friends.
