Blueprint @ GW, meet your RA!

Laura just finished her 2nd year at the University of Connecticut as psychology major where she is one of the recipients of the university’s leadership scholarship. She hopes to pursue a career in clinical psychology and as a research assistant for an early autism detection study, she is getting a hands-on experience in her studies.

When not hitting the books, she’s either hanging around campus with friends or getting a good workout with the rest of her rugby team. Although originally just a swimmer, Laura decided to try something completely new and joined the women’s rugby team and aside from the bumps and bruises, she’s loves it.

Originally from Colombia, Laura is fluent in spanish which will someday be very useful as she plans to travel all over the world, especially to spanish-speaking countries. This will be Laura’s first year with Blueprint Pre-College Summer programs, and although she’s not entirely sure what to expect , she couldn’t  be more excited to be part of the Blueprint community.

Cheers to a great summer!
