Blueprint @ Lehigh Meet Your Program Director!

Vicki is returning for her second summer with Blueprint at Lehigh after a fantastic 2013. We couldn’t be happier that she’ll be leading the program and know you’re going to love her!

About Vicki Raab | Educator, Athlete, Traveler, Adventurer

Vicki holds a B.A. in History, with a minor in Psychology and Education from Rutgers University, Douglass College. She also received her M.Ed. degree in Social Studies Education by completing a five-year program in the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University.

Currently, Vicki is in her third year teaching U.S. History, Sociology, and Anthropology at West Morris Central High School in Chester, New Jersey.  She is also an advisor for the Future Educators Club and an assistant coach of the field hockey team (and is so proud of her Wolfpack State Champions!)

In her spare time, Vicki loves playing field hockey, traveling to far off locations, going for a nice long run, bike riding, and seeking a challenge.  Vicki has been a field hockey goalkeeper since 1999, playing in middle school, high school, at Rutgers, and currently in a women’s league.  She has been actively involved in obstacle races such as the MudManX, Spartan Race, and the infamous Tough Mudder, where she tackled 13 miles and 27 obstacles, including an arctic ice plunge and some serious electrocution!

Most importantly, Vicki loves to travel when she has the opportunity.  So far, she has traveled to Mexico, Jamaica, and Spain, and her sights are now set on Italy and Australia!  One day she hopes to set foot on every continent (except maybe Antarctica…).

Vicki is super excited to be returning to Blueprint and to Lehigh University this summer where she got her start as a Psychology Instructor, except this time she is going to be a Director!   She sincerely hopes to make a lasting, memorable impact on each student this summer, and hopes that this year will be one that she and her students will always remember!  She hopes to make a summer home at Blueprint and help make the program unforgettable for you too!
